Vintage Vendome Animal Pins – NOS Butterfly Brooch White Enamel 1960s Gold Featured here is a vintage (unsold stock) Vendome butterfly brooch in white enamel and gold tone accents. It is signed Vendome. Vendome operated as a subsidiary of Coro. It was a high-quality line that succeeded Corocraft in 1944. Vendome ceased production in 1979. This pin looks very 1960s in design, and it measures about 1.25” to 1.75”. When I found it, it was in a bag (and had probably been there for years) and was full of dust. I have cleaned it and tested the clasp. Although it does retain a bit of dirt and/or light wear from storage, it is nothing that detracts, and is still in good vintage condition with working clasp.
